KD Volunteers present a new gift shop!

Paintings by Jim Weaver, Cutting Boards by John Moody, and Wooden Bowls by Bill Payton

Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts Volunteers has given the gift shop at Kennedy-Douglass a make-over. The new gift shop will operate under the supervision of interior designer (Lambert Ezell Durham) and volunteer, Jen Kennedy and volunteer Sandy Bell. The two have taken a new approach to the gift shop that will function as a museum store. Merchandise from local artisans, art books, kids activities, art accessories, and fine art cards fill the shop. The store aims to be a top resource for those looking for that perfect art gift, piece of jewelry, or home decor.
The store’s grand opening will be at the Kennedy-Douglass Center for the Arts Volunteer Open House this Friday at 11:30 a.m – 1:30 p.m. Store hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
